OCD

OCD or obsessive compulsive disorder is a mental health condition. It is a form of acquired neurodivergence. Despite it being understood as something you acquire and are not born with, OCD diverges form the norm of typical neurocognitive function. OCD involves both obsessions and compulsions, and is often an extremely distressing. One evidence-based treatment for OCD is inference based cognitive behavioral therapy. This type of therapy works on the doubts and confusion that OCD can cause. OCD is more commonly seen in autistic people than in the allistic (non-autistic) population.
